On October 12 around 100 young people descended on Jubilee Gardens, on South Bank in London, and amazed those passing by with a synchronised dance. These young people had spent four days at Power Shift, a gathering for young people who were keen to be part of the solution to climate change. Campaigning takes place in lots of ways and raising awareness of any issue can be done through such a variety of means that even dancing in the streets should be encouraged – well I think so anyway. So here, for something completely different, are 100 enthusiastic and passionate young activists dancing to raise awareness of climate change.
I hear we’ll need to watch out for more dancing at the Wave Demo in December.
